There is a latest buzz on internet that Deepika Padukone wants to play the lead role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s upcoming project “Ram Leela”.

After watching “Cocktail” Bhansali opened up to the idea of Deepika playing lead in his project and also he is impressed by Deepika’s portrayal of a dark streak in the film.

Apparently Priyanka busy with her debut music album in US. If she does lose the role, it will be the third instance of Deepika stepping into Kareena’s shoes after Chennai Express and the Ekta kapoor-Karan Johar film.
