People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) has got a new celebrity in India in the form of Bollywood diva Raveena Tandon who has stood up to the cause of creating awareness about suffering of animals. In a bid to speak for the cause of suffering that is metted out to the snakes and other animals for their skin to make accessories, she posed for an advertisement for PETA.
