Leader: This movie was released as a political satire where Dilip confronts the mafia led by veteran actor Jayant who has got a political leader murdered. The film saw Dilip in a different light as he played his role as the lover of Vijantimala and the man who confronts the mafia boss Jayant to perfection.Indidentally the villainous role played by jayant is something not seen in Hindi films. The film did not do well at the box office, but as a genre film with the trade mark of Dilip Kumar it is unsurpassable.
