Continuing on our list of Bollywood movies 2009 and 2010. We present the list of movies which are expected to hit the screens in 2011. Saat Khoon MaafSaat Khoon Maaf- Saat Khoon Maaf is an upcoming Hindi drama, thriller and black comedy film being directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, starring Priyanka Chopra in the lead role. The film, regarded to be a celluloid version of the Ruskin Bond book, Susanna’s Seven Husbands, features seven male leads with Naseeruddin Shah, John Abraham, Neil Nitin Mukesh as the youngest husband, as well as Irrfan Khan, Anu Kapoor and Naseeruddin Shah’s youngest son Vivaan Shah have been finalized for the roles of six husbands, with Russian actor Aleksandr Dyachenko chosen for the role of the seventh husband. Saat Khoon Maaf is set to release on 18th February 2011

Tanu weds ManuTanu weds Manu- Tanu Weds Manu is an upcoming Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Aanand Rai, and produced by Shailesh R Singh. It stars Madhavan, Kangana Ranaut and Jimmy Shergill in the lead roles. The film is set for release in February 2011. Tanu weds Manu is set to release on 25th Feb 2011

Yeh FaasleyYeh Faasley- upcoming Hindi thriller film, directed by Yogesh Mittal and produced by Omprakash Mittal. The movie stars Anupam Kher, Pawan Malhotra in the lead. Yeh Faasle is set to release on 4th March 2011

GameGame- Game is the upcoming movie of Abhishek Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut which boasts of star cast of Anupam Kher, Sarah Jen Dias, Boman Irani, Jimmy Shergil. This movie was earlier known as Crooked but the producers Rithesh Sidhwani and Farhaan Akhtar decided to change the name of the movie to Game. This is not the first time that a Hindi movie has been named Game. Game is set to release on 18th March 2011

Dum Maro DumDum Maaro Dum-is an upcoming Hindi Indian film being directed by Rohan Sippy and starring Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu, Prateek Babbar and Rana Daggubati. Aditya Pancholi will also be in the film.This film also has some intimate scenes between Rana and Bipasha. The film’s shoot has been progressing for several months in Goa. Dum Maaro Dum is set to release on 4th February 2011.

Run Bhola RunRun Bhola Run-is an upcoming 2011 Hindi comedy film written and directed by Neeraj Vora, produced by Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision Ltd, starring Govinda, Tusshar Kapoor, Ameesha Patel and Celina Jaitley in lead roles. The film’s plot centers on two convicts who escape from jail. Run Bhola Run is set to release in March 2011.

Patiala HousePatiala House-is an upcoming Bollywood film being directed by Nikhil Advani and starring Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma and Asin. Rishi Kapoor and Dimple Kapadia will play important roles in the film. The film began shooting in December 2009. Patiala Houseis set to release on 11th February 2011

Thank YouThank You-is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. It features Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Sonam Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Irfan Khan, Celina Jaitley & Rimi Sen. The movie is slated for early 2011 April release. Some scenes in this film are being shot in Vancouver and Toronto, Canada.. Thank You is set to release on 08th April 2011

Haunted 3DHaunted 3D-is an upcoming Bollywood romantic comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by UTV Motion Pictures. It features Akshay Kumar, Bobby Deol, Sonadirected by Vikram Bhatt, starring Mahakshay Chakraborty,Twinkle Bajpai, Achint Kaur, Arif Zakaria in lead roles. The film is current set to be release on April 15, 2011

Don 2Don 2 – The Chase Continues- is an upcoming Hindi action thriller film directed by Farhan Akhtar. It is the sequel to the 2006 hit film, Don: The Chase Begins Again, which itself is a remake of the cult 1978 blockbuster film Don, therefore making it the first sequel to a remake in Bollywood history. The film has Shahrukh Khan (as the title character), Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri, reprising their roles from the previous film; with Lara Dutta, Kunal Kapoor and Sahil Shroff joining the cast. It has been reported that Arjun Rampal will not be reprising his role in the sequel. Don 2 – The Chase Continues is set to release on 23rd December 2011

Unscheduled releases

Aasman- is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Anthony D’Souza. It is the sequel to the 2009 Bollywood film, Blue. The film stars Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Lara Dutta and Zayed Khan. Katrina Kaif will be playing the female lead role in the film opposite Akshay Kumar. In Blue, Kaif appeared in a cameo role as Nikki. However, in Aasman, she will be romancing Kumar in the film. Sanjay Dutt will be casted opposite Lara Dutta while Zayed Khan will be casted opposite Neha Oberoi. D’Souza has announced that along with the cast from the previous film, there will be a new male lead role. D’Souza is keen on getting John Abraham to play that role however, Abraham is yet to give a response as to whether he will or will not be a part of Aasman. Sonal Chauhan will also be featured in the film. Aasman will go on floors in early 2010 and is expected to release in late 2011

Naqaab- is a Bollywood suspense thriller directed by the famous duo Abbas Burmawalla and Mustan Burmawalla. The film reunites Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna after their last film Humraaz which was also directed by Abbas-Mustan. Former model Urvashi Sharma makes her film debut as the leading actress of the film. The story of the movie is ripped from the Hollywood movie “(Dot the I)”

Its my Life- Its My Life is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Anees Bazmee. It stars Harman Baweja, Genelia D’Souza and Nana Patekar in lead roles. It is a remake of the superhit Telugu film Bommarillu which was also remade in Tamil as Santosh Subramaniam. In both films Genelia D’Souza plays the lead female role. The film was originally set to release on 23 July 2010, but was postponed”

A Slumdog Millionaire Goes Dancing- is an upcoming Bollywood musical film, produced by Percept Picture Company and directed by Shiamak Davar. The film is set to release in 2011. An audition will be held to select the actors who will play the slum kids. The film stars Shahid Kapoor and Ruslaan Mumtaz in guest roles

Agent Vinod -is an upcoming Hindi action film starring Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor. Directed by Sriram Raghavan, the project is a not a remake of the 1977 action film Agent Vinod, which was directed by Deepak Bahry. Agent Vinod is expected to release in May 2011.

Bombay Velvet- Oscar winner Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) is planning to make a Hollywood-Bollywood fusion movie called “Bombay Velvet”, according to reports.
Focusing on Mumbai city in India, it is said to be thriller set-up in 1940s based on real incidents, and will be directed by Anurag Kashyap (Black Friday). Boyle has reportedly signed up Filmfare Award winner Aamir Khan (Lagaan) for the film and is reported to have approached Filmfare Award winner Shah Rukh Khan (Chak De! India) for a role in it. This film, which is divided into three parts and shall be produced by Boyle, is expected to go to the floor next year

Delhi Belly-is an upcoming Bollywood comedy film, revolving around several characters in Delhi. The film is being produced by Aamir Khan, who is also said to be doing a cameo role in the movie, under his banner Aamir Khan Productions in association with UTV Motion Pictures and directed by ad filmmaker Abhinay Deo, who was roped in after Swedish director Robert Nylund withdrew

Double Dhamaal-is an upcoming Bollywood comedy film directed by Indra Kumar. It is the sequel to the 2007 comedy film, Dhamaal. The film stars Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey, Aashish Chaudhary and Arshad Warsi in the lead roles. Kumar has also got Mallika Sherawat and Kangna Ranaut to play the lead female roles in the film. This is a difference from its prequel Dhamaal, since that film did not star any actress in the lead role. The film was originally set to release in 2009 however due to script problems, Kumar postponed the film’s release date to sometime in 2010 or early 2011.

Dhoom 3: Fasten Your Seatbelts-is an Indian action film series. The movies are centered around Jai Dixit (Abhishek Bachchan), an ACP who, in both episodes, finds himself fighting a group of bad guys or thieves.

Dostana 2- is a upcoming Bollywood Comedy film produced by Karan Johar. It is the sequel to the 2008 film Dostana.

Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara-is an upcoming Hindi film, directed by Zoya Akhtar and produced by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani of Excel Entertainment. It will star Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol and Farhan Akhtar. The female roles are played by Kalki Koechlin and Katrina Kaif where the latter is said to be paired with Hrithik Roshan. The music will be composed by Shankar Ehsaan Loy. Earlier, Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were rumoured to be a part of the film, but they declined because they wished to star together in their own production. The film is a male bonding road story, about four friends, on the lines of Dil Chahta Hai. Shooting has taken place at various locations across Spain, Egypt, the UK and India.

Hera Pheri 4-is a upcoming Bollywood comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Feroz Nadiadwala. It is the third movie in the Hera Pheri series, after Hera Pheri which was directed by Priyadarshan and Phir Hera Pheri which was directed by Neeraj Vora. It was originally titled Choot ki Hera Pheri, but it has since been renamed.

Happy New Year -is a forthcoming Bollywood romantic comedy starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone in pivotal roles. The film is directed by Farah Khan and is under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment.

Komagata Maru- is an upcoming Hindi movie starring Akshay Kumar and Shriya Saran in the lead role whilst Vinay Virmani playing important character in the film .The movie will be direct by oscar nominated director Deepa Mehta. The film’s score and soundtrack were composed by academy award winner and composer A. R. Rahman.

Most Wanted- Producer Boney Kapoor has said that the sequel of Wanted, Wanted 2 (also known as Most Wanted) will be made in the near future with Salman and Asin in lead roles.The music of the film is given by Sajid Wajid. The music received mixed to negative reviews from critics, with a few songs seeing a positive response. Bollywood Hungama gave it an overall rating of 2.5/5. Jalwa and Love Me Love Me were declared the most successful tracks and topped the charts with its release.

Mausam-is an upcoming Hindi-language film directed and written by Pankaj Kapoor under the Vistaar Religare Film Fund banner. The film stars Shahid Kapoor opposite Sonam Kapoor along with Pankaj Kapoor. This film will mark the first time that Shahid Kapoor has been in a movie opposite his father, Pankaj Kapoor. It is also Pankaj Kapoor’s directorial debut film. Over the months, Shahid Kapoor has been looking for an actress to star opposite him in the film. He was eager on getting Katrina Kaif to be a part of the film. Kareena Kapoor was another option for Kapoor to choose. In February 2010, Pankaj Kapoor decided that Sonam Kapoor would be featured opposite Shahid Kapoor. The film will be shot in London, Edinburgh, and India. Mausam is set for release in 2011. It is said that it will also be remade in English language with the title “The Season’s of Love”

My Love Story -is an upcoming Bollywood action / romance film and remake of Malayalam Bodyguard directed by Siddique who has been aproached to direct the remake as well. the producer of the film is salman khan’s brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri and the film features Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor in lead role. the music of the film is composed by Pritam Chakraborty. Katrina Kaif was also rumored to play the female lead in the film but cause of her busy schedule, that rumor was later dropped after Kareena Kapoor was chosen to play the female lead. the film is scheduled to a 2011 Eid release.

Partner, Part II-is a upcoming Bollywood Comedy Drama that is being filmed. The shooting started at the end of 2009. It was supposed to be released in 2010, Diwali, but the shooting dates accidentally got cancelled and got changed till in 2011. The film is a sequel to 2007 film Partner which is popularly believed to be plagiarized from the 2005 hollywood movie Hitch. The sequel will also be directed by David Dhawan and will be starring Salman Khan and Govinda in their roles from the first movie. the movie been writing,and is at script stage.

Ra. One-is an upcoming Hindi science-fiction superhero film directed by Anubhav Sinha. The film, which features Shahrukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, will be produced under Khan’s production company, Red Chillies Entertainment. According to Khan, “Ra.One” means “Random Access – Version One”.The film is scheduled to be released on 3 June 2011

Ready- is an upcoming Bollywood comedy film directed by Anees Bazmee. The film, a remake of the successful 2008 Telugu film Ready, stars Salman Khan and Asin Thottumkal in the lead roles. Salman Khan and Asin Thottumkal are paring for the second time after London Dreams.

Rock On 2!!-After the success of Rock On, a sequel was announced but had not yet begun production at the time. Director Abhishek Kapoor currently has no plan for the sequel. However, he has confirmed that a sequel to Rock On will be made. Farhan Akhtar and Arjun Rampal are returning for the sequel since they have been keen on starting the sequel since 2008. Priyanka Chopra will also star as the female lead in the sequel.The film is yet to begin production. Kapoor does not want to rush into the sequel; however, he has ideas in mind for the film.

Silence- is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Anurag Basu stars Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Asin in lead roles. Ranbir Kapoor reportedly plays the role of a deaf and dumb person in the film, precipitating the title of Silence which was earlier titled as Khamoshi. The shoot of this film is scheduled to start from july 2010. Currently this movie is under the Pre-Production stage.

No One Killed JessicaNo One Killed Jessica- is an upcoming Hindi-language film starring Vidya Balan and Rani Mukherji, produced by UTV Spotboy and directed by Rajkumar Gupta who had earlier directed the acclaimed film Aamir (2008).The movie will have music by Amit Trivedi, who earlier gave music in Dev D(2008).While Vidya Balan plays a character close to Jessica’s elder sister, Sabrina Lal, Rani is set to play a reporter. Yamla Pagla DeewanaYamla Pagla Deewana- is an upcoming comedy-drama film directed by Samir Karnik, starring Dharmendra, Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol in the lead roles.The whole Deol family is coming together after their last sports hit, Apne (2007). According to the director, the film’s title is inspired from the song “Main Jat Yamla Pagla Deewana” from the 1975 film, Pratiggya also starring Dharmendra. The film is scheduled for release on January 14, 2011

Dhobi GhaatDhobi Ghat-is an upcoming Hindi film produced and directed by Kiran Rao in her directorial debut. The film will release in theatres in early 2011. The film stars Aamir Khan and Prateek Babbar. Aamir Khan is said to have a lead role in the movie as a painter. A.R. Rahman was asked to write the musical score, but due to his tight schedule, commitments to Hollywood producers, and a world tour, he declined the film. Another two-time Oscar-winning Argentine composer, Gustavo Santaolalla, was signed it to compose the score and soundtrack of the film. Dhobi Ghaat had world premiere in September 2010 at the Toronto International Film Festival. Dhobi Ghat is set to release on 25th February 2011
