Continuing on our list of Bollywood movies 2009. We present the list of movies which are expected to hit the screens in 2010. Guzaarish - is an upcoming Hindi-language Indian film being directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai in leading roles. The movie will revolve around the story of a married nurse (Aishwarya Rai) and a quadriplegic, wheelchair-using patient Ethan (Hrithik Roshan), suffering from impairments of the motor and sensory functions of his limbs, with whom she develops an intimate bond.The film is scheduled for release on November 19, 2010
Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey – Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is an upcoming Bollywood Indian film being directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar and starring Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Sikander Khe will play important roles in the film. Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is a period thriller and is based on the book Do And Die by Manini Chatterjee, based on the Chittagong Uprising of 1930This movie will release on the December 3rd, 2010.
Tera Kya Hoga Johny -Tera Kya Hoga Johnny is a thrilling drama written and directed by Sudhir Mishra where emotions like greed, lust, love, betrayal, hope acquire a new meaning as Mumbai struggles to become Shanghai.The film features Neil Mukesh, Karan Nath, Soha Ali Khan, Kay Kay Menon, Shahana Goswami and Sikandar Agarwal.This release date is sometime late 2010.
Tees Maar Khan - Tees Maar Khan is a forthcoming Bollywood movie directed by Farah Khan. The film features Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif and Akshaye Khanna in lead roles. The film is slated for 24 December 2010 release with the other big release Yamala Pagla Deewana on same day. Priyanka Chopra was also rumored to play the part of Anya, but that rumor was later dropped after Katrina Kaif was chosen to play the female lead. According to reports, Salman Khan will do a item song for the film
Koochie Koochie Hota Hain – Animation movie based on the hit movie “kuch kuch hota hai”. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. This movie is slated to be released in the summer of 2010.
Film City – Directed by Deven Khote and starring John Abraham in the lead. This movie is scheduled to release on 5th March,2010.
Kajraare – is an upcoming movie Hindi language Bollywood film, directed by Pooja Bhatt. The film stars Himesh Reshammiya and actress Mona Lizza.Himesh plays a lawyer in this film,the lawyer falls in love with a prostitute and it is the story of how they find true love. The film is slated for release on September 24, 2010
Season’s Greetings – This movie stars Tabu, Shreyas Talpade, Sohail Khan, Vatsal Seth and Javed Jaffery among others.
Paan Singh Tomar – is an epic journey of a talented athelete who turns into a rebel terrorizing the Chambal Valley. Starring Irrfan Khan and Mahi Gill in the lead, this movie is scheduled to release on Feb 26,2010.

Lava kusa- Animated Indian movies are fairly less and whenever one is made it is a special treat for children and adults alike. Lava Kusa– The Warrior Twins is being made by Rayudu V Sashank under RVML and The Kaanipakam Creations banners with a huge budget of Rs 25 crores. The movie will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Lava Kusa is scheduled to be released on October 15, 2010.
Jhootha Hi Sahi- is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Abbas Tyrewala under the banner of Sa Re Ga Ma Films. This romantic comedy film features John Abraham and Pakhi (Abbas Tyrewala’s wife). The film’s score and soundtrack are being composed by Academy Award winner A. R. Rahman. The film was earlier titled as 1-800-Love. Madhavan will make a guest appearance in the movie. Jhootha Hi Sahi is scheduled to be released on October 15, 2010.
Golmaal 3- is an upcoming Hindi comedy film directed by Rohit Shetty. A sequel to the 2008 film Golmaal Returns, the project will star majority of the actors from the previous film like Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade, and will also feature new actors as well. The film started shooting on 20 March 2010 in Mumbai and later progressed in Goa. Golmaal 3 is scheduled to release on 5 November 2010.
Action Replayy- Action Replayy (formerly Action Replay) is an upcoming Hindi Language Indian film being directed by Vipul Shah and starring Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai and Neha Dhupia in lead roles. Randhir Kapoor will play an important role in the film.It is a copy of Back to the Future Part 1. Action Replayy is a time travel comedy tale based on Mumbai in the fifties. The film was announced in September 2008 and is currently in the post-production stage. It is expected to release for Diwali 2010.
Anjaana Anjaani - is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by Siddharth Anand, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra and Zayed Khan. This film is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment Pvt. Ltd, banner.The film music has been composed by Vishal-Shekhar who have composed the music for all of Siddharth’s three films from the past.The Cinematography is Handled By Ravi K. Chandran. Anjaana Anjaani is set to release on 24 September 2010
Crook – Crook is an upcoming Hindi Thriller movie directed by Mohit Suri. Emraan Hashmi and Neha Sharma play pivotal roles in the film. The film is scheduled for release on the 24 Sebtember, 2010. It will be about the racial attacks on Indian students in Australia. It’s punchline is, It’s Bad to be Good, and Good to be bad.
Aakrosh - Aakrosh is an upcoming action-thriller film directed by Priyadarshan. The film has Ajay Devgn, Akshay Khanna, Bipasha Basu, Paresh Rawal, Reema Sen and Amita Pathak in lead roles, along with Sameera Reddy and Urvashi Sharma in special song appearances. Aakrosh is set to release on 1st October 2010
Khichdi – The movie – Fox Star Studios, who brought ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and ‘My Name Is Khan’ are now releasing the big screen version of popular TV comedy ‘Khichadi’ on October 1.Titled ‘Khichadi-The Movie’, the film takes off from the popular sitcom that made characters like Hansa, Praful, Babuji, Himanshu and Jayshree a household name.The new film has been produced by Hats Off Productions and directed by Aatish Kapadia
Dabangg – Dabangg is an upcoming Hindi action film, directed by Abhinav Kashyap and produced by Arbaaz Khan, set to be released on 10 September 2010.It is the first film of newly launched Arbaaz Khan productions. The lead actors in the film include Arbaaz’s elder brother, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, daughter of Shatrughan Sinha.
Emotional Atyaachar – is a ROAD THRILLER WITH BLACK HUMOUR. It is an ensemble film set on the deserted highway between Mumbai and Goa and revolves around incidents that take place in one night to four sets of travelers. It is essentially a dark film, in which, each character is an anti-hero who has a dark side.The film features Mohit Alawat, Kalki Koechlin , Vinay Pathak and Ranvir. The film is scheduled for release on 03rd September 2010
We are Family - is an upcoming Hindi film directed by Siddharth Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar. The film stars Kajol, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in lead roles. A remake of the 1998 film Stepmom, the feature is expected to be released on September 10, 2010.
Aashayein -is a forthcoming Bollywood film written and directed by Nagesh Kukunoor, and produced by Percept Picture Company and T-Series. It stars John Abraham and film newcomer Sonal Sehgal in the lead roles.Aashayein is scheduled for release on August 13th 2010.
Lafengey Parindey – Lafangey Parindey is a 2010 Hindi Language film directed by Pradeep Sarkar, produced by Aditya Chopra and starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles. The film is set to release on 20 August 2010 under the Yash Raj Films banner.
Peepli Live – Peepli Live is an upcoming Bollywood film which is produced by Aamir Khan. Directed and written by Anusha Rizvi in her first directorial venture, the film stars Naya Theatre company member Omkar Das Manikpuri as well as Raghubir Yadav, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Malaika Sheno.Peepli Live was filmed on location in Madhya Pradesh and New Delhi. According to Khan, many of the actors are Adivasis from Madhya Pradesh
Aisha – is an upcoming Hindi Language Romantic Comedy directed by Rajshree Ojha and starring Sonam Kapoor, Abhay Deol and Arunoday Singh. Cyrus Sahukar will play an important role in the film.
Aisha is scheduled for release on August 6th 2010. The film’s shoot began in August 2009 in Delhi
Once Upon a time in Mumbai - Seen through the eyes of a police officer, ‘Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai’ traces the changing face of the Mumbai underworld. The film, set primarily in 1970 Mumbai, follows the rise of Sultan (Ajay Devgn), and his eventual fall, when his protégé Shoaib (Emraan Hashmi), challenges his supremacy, and usurps power to rule the murky underbelly of Mumbai.The film is treated in an avante garde fashion, bursting with color, underlining the style of the 70s and 80s. The movie releases on the 30th July, 2010
Khatta Meetha – is a forthcoming Hindi Movie directed by Priyadarshan which will star Akshay Kumar and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles. It will be a satirical comedy film.The story revolves around road mafia and corruption in the construction business. Akshay Kumar plays a road contractor named Sachin Tichkule who is facing a tough time in his job. Trisha plays his college time love interest with whom he broke up and now a PWD Officer. This movie will release on the July 23rd, 2010.
Tere Bin Laden – Tere Bin Laden is a tongue-in-cheek comedy about an ambitious young news reporter from Pakistan who is desperate to migrate to the US in pursuit of the American dream. His repeated attempts to immigrate are shot down as his visa is always rejected. But when things couldn’t look worse he comes across an Osama bin laden look alike. Ali then hatches a scheme to produce a fake Osama video and sell it to news channels as a breakthrough scoop! Unfortunately there are serious ramifications as the White House gets involved and dispatches an overzealous secret agent on Ali’s trail.The film is slated for release on July 16, 2010
Lamhaa – is an upcoming 2010 Bollywood social-action thriller film written and directed by Rahul Dholakia. Set in Kashmir, the film is a story about an army man, played by Sanjay Dutt, and his love interest, played by Bipasha Basu, in the midst of the various issues that Kashmir had faced for years. It also features Anupam Kher and Kunal Kapoor in supporting roles.. The film is slated for release on July 16, 2010
I Hate Luv Storys - I Hate Luv Storys is a forthcoming film starring Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor in the lead roles.Produced under Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by debutante Punit Malhotra, nephew of designer Manish Malhotra who has earlier worked as an assistant director to Johar. The film is expected to be released on July 02, 2010.I Hate Love Stories is said to be a film about a film director, Sammir Dattani and his labourers played by Imran Khan and Sonam Kapoor. Both assistant director and Labourers meet on set and sparks fly. This romantic comedy is a love story between all three characters.
Milenge Milenge- is a forthcoming delayed Bollywood film, scheduled to release on 9 July 2010. The movie, which seems to be inspired by the 2001 romantic comedy Serendipity, is directed by Satish Kaushik and stars Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor in their fifth film together after Imtiaz Ali’s Jab We Met (2007).Other members from the cast include Satish Shah, Aarti Chhabria, and Delnaaz Paul. The movie releases on the 9th July, 2010
Udaan- is an upcoming Bollywood drama film, produced by Sanjay Singh, Anurag Kashyap and Ronnie Screwvala and directed by Vikramaditya Motwane.The film was officially selected to compete in the ‘Un Certain Regard’(A Certain Look) category at the 2010 Cannes Film FestivalThe movie releases on the 16th July, 2010
Raavan – is an action/romance based movie starring Abhishek Bachchan and his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Raavan is directed by Mani Ratnam and has music by A R Rahman. Released by Reliance Big Pictures, Raavan also stars Bipasha Basu and Govinda. The film is slated for release on June 18, 2010
Ek Second jo zindagi badal de – is an upcoming Bollywood thriller movie directed by Partho Ghosh featuring veteran Bollywood stars Jackie Shroff and Manisha Koirala in lead roles.The core story can be summed up as “Sometimes in life a decision made in one second can turn the way of living of our life”. The film is scheduled for release on June 11, 2010.
Rajneeti – is an upcoming 2010 Indian political thriller to be directed by Prakash Jha. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Ajay Devgan, Nana Patekar, Arjun Rampal and Manoj Bajpai in principal roles. The film is scheduled for release on June 04, 2010.
Kites – is the much awaited Bollywood film directed by Anurag Basu, and produced by Rakesh Roshan that will star Hrithik Roshan, Barbara Mori, Kangana Ranaut and Luce Rains. This film is a high budget movie and has been made with the international audience in mind. It has already had its fair share of controversy with the alleged affair between Barbara Mori and Hrithik. The film is slated for release on May 14, 2010
Badmaash Company – ‘Badmaash Company’ is an upcoming Bollywood film directed by actor-turned-director Parmeet Sethi, produced by Aditya Chopra and starring Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Meiyang Chang and Vir Das. Badmaash Company is the story of four ordinary youngsters (Karan, Bulbul, Zing and Chandu) in 1990s Bombay, who come together to start a business.They find a way to beat the system and soon become millionaires, realizing their one dream of making quick money by doing all the wrong things,The film is slated for release on 7 May 2010.
Bumm Bumm Bole – Bumm Bumm Bole is an upcoming Hindi film by director Priyadarshan. The film stars Taare Zameen Par fame Darsheel Safary, Atul Kulkarni, Rituparna Sengupta and new comer Ziyah Vastani also. The film is based on 1997 Iranian film Children of Heaven which nominated for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film in the same year. Bumm Bumm Bole is scheduled for release on May 14, 2010. The title of the movie is based on one of the songs of Taare Zameen Par.
Housefull – ‘Housefull’ is a romantic comedy entertainer which is(narrates) the story of Aarush – the world’s unluckiest man.Directed by Sajjid Khan, Housefull movie stars Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Randhir Kapoor, Chunkey Pandey, Boman Irani, Lilette Dubey, Malaika Arora. This movie is scheduled to release on April 30th,2010.
Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai – is a Hindi romantic comedy written and directed by Milap Zaveri. The film stars Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez and Ruslaan Mumtaz in lead roles. It’s Warner Bros’s third Indian movie production. The film is slated to be released in 9th April, 2010
Pankh - Pankh is an upcoming 2009 Bollywood film written and directed by Sudipto Chattopadhyaya and starring Bipasha Basu, Lilette Dubey, Mahesh Manjrekar, Ronit Roy, Sanjeeda Sheikh and newcomers Maradona Rebello and Amit Purohit. The film is reportedly based on the case of child actor Ahsaas Channa, who’s apparently a girl passed off as a boy in movies like Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and Vaastu Shastra.This film is slated to be released on 2nd April 2010.

Paathshala – Paathshala is a 2009 Bollywood film that stars Shahid Kapoor and Ayesha Takia. It is directed by Milind Ukey, the assistant director is Abhishek Dogra.It has been released by Adlabs, and produced by Ahmed Khan. The film revolves around kids set in a school campus. The movie is slated to release on April 16, 2010.
Hum Tum Aur Ghost – Starring Arshad Warsi,Dia Mirza and Boman Irani, Hum Tum aur Ghost is a romantic comedy directed by Kabeer Kaushik. Produced by husband-wife duo of Arshad Warsi and
Maria Goretti, this film is slated to be released on 26th March 2010.
Mittal Vs Mittal - Starring Ritupurna Sengupta and Rohit Roy in the lead, this film traces a case on file that fights for the rights of women who are subjugated to domestic violence and inhuman treatment at the hands of husbands and in-law. This movie is slated to be released on 19th march 2010

Well Done Abba – Well Done Abba is a 2010 political satire Hindi film directed by Shyam Benegal, starring Boman Irani, Minissha Lamba and Sammir Dattani in pivotal roles. The film tells the story of Armaan Ali, a driver working in Mumbai, who takes a one month leave from his employer to find a groom for his daughter, who lives at his native village near Hyderabad but returns back after three months. Armaan’s employer decides to sack him, but is persuaded to listen to the reason why Armaan was late, this film is slated to be released on 26th March 2010.
Prince - Starring Vivek Oberoi, Aruna Murty and Nandana Sen in the lead, Prince.. is an action thriller based around a thief. Prince.. is slated to be released on 09th April 2010

Sadiyaan – Introducing Luv Sinha (son of Shotgun Sinha) and Ferana Wazier, Sadiyaan is a period drama directed by Raj Kanwar, Sadiyaan also stars Rekha,Shabana Azmi,Hema Malini and Rishi Kapoor. This film is slated to be released on 2nd April 2010.
Tum Milo Toh Sahi – Starring Nana Patekar, Dimple Kapadia, Suniel Shetty, Vidya Malvade, Rehan Khan & Anjana Sukhani in lead roles.Tum Milo To Sahi is a tale of ordinary people at different stages of life, who discover that ‘their roots have intertwined so inseparably that they have become one tree and not two!’ The film revolves around ‘art and fortunate accident’ happens to three different couples at three different stages of life – late teens, mid thirties and late fifties. This film is slated to be released on 2nd April 2010.
Hide N Seek – Starring Purab Kohli, Arjan Bajwa, Mrinali Sharma among others, Hide n Seek is a thriller from director Shawn Arranha. Produced by Apoorva Lakhia of Shootout in Lokhandwala fame, this film is slated to be released on 8th January 2010.
Right Yaa Wrong – Starring Ajay Devgun and Irfaan Khan in the lead, Right Yaa Wrong is a story about two cops pitted against each other. Co-produced by Mukta Arts and directed by Neeraj Pathak, this movie promises to be an explosive action movie. Right Yaa Wrong is slated to be released on 15th January 2010.
Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge – Ajay Devgan starrer ‘Atithi Tum Kab Jaaoge?’ is based on noted satirist Sharad Joshi’s short story. The story is about an unwanted guest, Paresh Rawal, who enters the household of a married couple, played by Ajay and Konkona Sen Sharma, and lives for a long time by continuously extending his stay. So much so that the couple is exasperated and starts praying for his exit. The film is slated to be released in 26th February 2010
Karthik Calling Karthik – stars Farhan Akhtar and Deepika Padukone in the lead. KCK is believed to be a psychological thriller. Farhan Akhtar’s character in the film is apparently shown to be solving Rubik’s cube throughout the film. Music for KCK is by Shankar-Loy-Ehsaan and the movie is directed by Vijay Lalwani.The film is slated to be released on 26th February 2010
Rann – Starring Big B,Paresh Rawal, Ritesh Deshmukh, Sudeep, Manisha Koirala, Rajat Kapoor, Gul Panag, Raima Sen among others, Rann promises to be a strong political drama directed by Ram Gopal Varma. Rann is about how powerful the role of media is in today’s world. The film is slated to be released on 22nd January 2010.
Teen Patti – Starring two acting legends Amitabh and Oscar winning Hollywood actor Ben Kingsley, Teen Patti is an emotionally riveting and razor sharp thriller. Set in India and England, the film revolves around greed, deception and imagination. The film is directed by Leena Yadav and produced by Ambika Hinduja under her banner Serendipity Films.. The film is slated to be released in February 2010
Toh Baat Pakki – Ramesh Taurani’s upcoming comedy Toh Baat Pakki alongside Sharman Joshi, Tabu and Vatsal Seth. The film has been directed by talented Marathi film writer-director Kedar Shinde, who stormed the Marathi box office.The film is based in a B-town centre of India and carries the mentalities and the true essence of the ‘Great Indian middle class’. The film is slated to be released in February 19th, 2010
My Name is Khan – is an upcoming 2009 Indian drama based on a true story. My Name is Khan is directed by Karan Johar, produced by Dharma Productions, and has a screenplay by Shibani Bathija. The musical trio Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composed the film’s score. The film stars Shahrukh Khan as Rizvan Khan, a muslim man who suffers from Asperger syndrome (a form of autism which impacts social interaction abilities). Authorities detain Rizvan after mistaking his disability for “suspicious” behavior. The film is slated to be released in February 2010
Click – Click is an up coming Bollywood movie directed by Sangeeth Sivan. Click stars Shreyas Talpade, Rehan Khan, Sneha Ullal, Sada & Chunky Pandey. Movie is all about the story of a young photographer and his girlfriend. The movie is scheduled to release on 19 February 2010.
Ishqiya – Ishqiya is a forthcoming Hindi film that stars Arshad Warsi, Vidya Balan and Naseeruddin Shah in the lead roles. Produced by Raman Maroo and Vishal Bharadwaj and directed by debutante Abhishek Chaubey. Set in eastern Uttar Pradesh, the movie is a tale of romance between individuals caught in a web of crime, suspense, passion and deceit. The movie is scheduled to release on 29 January 2010.
Veer – Starring the original hulk of bollywood, Salman Khan, Veer is a period drama that shows Salman playing a warrior. Directed by Anil Sharma (Gadar fame), Veer is slated to be released on 15th January 2010.
Pyaar Impossible – Starring Uday Chopra, Dino Morea & Priyanka Chopra & others, Pyaar Impossible is a comedy love story from the director Jugal Hansraj. Produced by Uday Chopra, movie is slated to be released on 8th January 2010.
Chance Pe Dance Chance pe dance is the story of a talented and passionate young struggling actor called Sameer. Positive and brimming with energy, Sameer juggles various jobs while working towards getting his big break in the industry. During his struggle he meets Tina who is a choreographer. While waiting for his big break, sameer starts teaching dance to kids in a dance school. Just when things look bleak, along comes a talen hunt show to choose the hero for an upcoming movie.
