Kidnap PosterImran Khan is gearing up for his next big release, it’s called Kidnap, directed by Sanjay Gandhvi of Dhoom 1 and Dhoom 2 fame. After being an instant hit in Jaane Tu where he played the very sweet next door guy, Imran is donning an aggressive and intense role in Kidnap, he’s worried whether audience will accept him in an intensive role.

Believe it or not, Imran hasn’t watched his debut film Jaane Tu yet. In an interview with Tarun Adarsh, he said this ‘I watched the final cut of the film, without the background score. But I’ve yet to watch the complete version that’s playing in theatres”.

Imran hasn’t watched Kidnap either; it seems he has just watched his portions while dubbing, but he revealed that Aamir mamu watched the movie and sent him a text message which said ‘You’ve done very well’. ‘That’s one compliment I would always cherish’ was what Imran had to say about the text. Imran Khan is currently busy shooting for his next movie ‘Delhi Belly’ after which he hasn’t got any other movie on his plate, he has received a couple of offers but has declined them because of poor script.

Kidnap is a man v/s boy movie as the writer of the movie puts it. From the trailer it gives you the edge of the seat feel, beautiful locations and a tête-à-tête between a boy and a man . Imran Khan takes on Sanjay Dutt after kidnapping his daughter, played by Minissha Lamba.
