PIFFThe 8th Pune International Film Festival will be inaugurated by Bollywood legend Dev Anand on January 7. Around 160 films from 48 countries will be screened at the week long event, sponsored by Maharashtra government.

Veteran actors Rajesh Khanna and Dr Shreeram Lagoo will be conferred with ‘Jeevan Gaurav’ award on the occasion, Dr Jabbar Patel, director and Suresh Kalmadi, Chairman of the festival told a press conference here today. Noted music director Pyarelal too will be felicitated with the late S D Burman award, they said. Eminent filmmaker Subhash Ghai will be the Chief Guest of the festival which will have an international jury to select best film in different categories.
