Runner-up of the popular reality show Bigg Boss 2, Raja Chaudhary, was on Sunday arrested for allegedly misbehaving at public place,
police said here.
This is the third time he was arrested and released by the police in the past one week. Earlier on December 4, he was arrested for allegedly molesting a 23-year-old woman in his car. A day before this, he was arrested and released on bail for allegedly misbehaving with an eunuch.
Raja entered Just Like Hotel at around 0030 hours and started dancing on the floor after consuming alcohol. He came to the hotel alone in his car, police said.
“When waiters requested him not to dance, he roughed them up and abused for refraining him from dancing. The staff then called us complaining about his indecent behaviour,” Police Inspector Dattatrai Sankhe told PTI.
“By the time we reached there, Raja was outside the hotel and was behaving indecently at public place,” the officer said adding that medical tests were conducted on him after he was brought to the police station.
Raja was put behind the bars under section 110 of Mumbai Police Act. “At around 0430 hours his father Surendra Singh approached us and paid a fine of Rs 1,200 after which Raja was released,” the officer added.
A non-cognisable complaint was filed against him for beating up and abusing waiters in the hotel, the officer said.
Ex-husband of famous television actress Shweta Tiwari, Raja Chaudhary played the main villain in the Bhojpuri film ‘Saiyyan Hamar Hindustani’ opposite to Shweta, and the two even delivered a superlative performance in the popular dance reality show Nach Baliye 2.
