Colors channel that has been on the news from quite sometime for many innovative shows, is yet again announcing another innovative show of its own kind called ‘Chote Miyan‘.

We have seen ace comedians who have delivered some authentic, classic & extraordinary talent of imbibing laughter on audience’s hearts by their comic time sense on almost every channel. Now its turn for the children to show this talent on colors channel.

Initially the production house (Endemol India) and the channel (Colors) had a tough time in scouting for real talent. A source close to the production says, “Getting kids, between the age group of 6-14 for an arduous craft like stand-up comedy is proving to be a quite a task. Auditions are being held across various cities but so far there is a serous crunch in talent.” But the recent T.V strike acted as boon for them and they got some more time to search for more talents.

Juhi Parmar, known for the character cum serial name ‘Kumkum’, stand-up comedian and the winner of the The Great Indian Laughter Challenge 3 & Kapil Sharma another ace stand up comedian from Laughter Challenge have been signed on to host the first-of-its kind show Chhote Miyan. (ODD pairing though)

The judges on the show would be Rahul Mahajan & Sachin Pilgaonkar. We hope Rahul stays until the show ends and doesn’t evict from the show as seen on Big Boss.

Jokes apart, the search for the talent is finally over and the show will be aired on television from December 13th Saturday 9 PM. For the very first time in the history of Indian television viewers will get to see the comic talent of kids aged 6-14. We wish all the kids and the hosts, judges and the cahneel best of luck. Time will decide if these kids bring up the magic of some of the ace adult comedians we have witnessed earlier.
