The rise and fall of an actor in Bollywood is a traditional trend. Media, critics, audience, public all contribute in it equally. We have seen many actors and actresses who have raised to the peak and suddenly they have abruptly vanished into thin air.
In the recent times, can we assume that its Rani Mukherjee’s turn? Her series of 5 consecutive flops have made many people to believe that her career string is loosen and might tear apart anytime.
During the tenure 2004 – 2005, she reigned Bollywood like no other actress. She was considered as the most powerful women in Bollywood. With films like Veer-Zaara, Hum Tum, Yuva, Black, Paheli & Bunti aur Bubli, she gave hits consecutively and had cherished her profound success very dearly.
But the downfall phase started soon after Bunty aur Bubli. In the past 3 years, she gave us films like Baabul, Saawariya, Laaga chunari mein daag, ta ra rum pum & Thoda pyar thoda magic which failed drastically and miserably on the Box office. The only tiny survival was “kabhie alvida na kehna“, but Rani was not much noticed in that movie had big star cast.
Media says, she stick working only for Yash Raj Films (YRF) and that’s the reason she could not experiment much with herself. Her last movies are the proof for that. But, it was her selection of films that resulted in her downfall. Her looks in the movies like tara rum pum, laaga chunari mein daag and thoda pyar thoda magic made her fans to whine and think what’s wrong with our cute bubbly sweet lovely girl!!!
The current status on Rani’s front is that other banners have altogether stopped offering her films. She is
now 30 years old which leaves her with very little time to get back in control especially in an industry which is known to be heartless to actresses who are not young. Where will Rani go from here? Will she manage to take stock of the competition, which is only getting tougher by the day?
hi my best Rani i love you so much forever thanks Rani
