Hat trick for Indian Team as they had registered their 3rd Consecutive Win Against England. India beat England by 16 runs by the Duckworth Lewis (D/L) method in Kanpur to take a 3-0 lead in the 7 Match Series.

Electing to bat first, England were bundled for 240 runs. Captain MS Dhoni had predicted that bad light would come into play later in the day and Indian players started their chase with that point in mind.

Chasing a victory target of 241 runs, India were 198/5 in 40 over’s when play was called off due to bad light. According to the D/L method, India needed to be 183/5 after 40 over’s whereas they were 198/5.

The Indian team registered their third consecutive win in the series; this time by beating the visitors by 16 runs and via the D/L method as the umpires offered the bad light to the players.

Indian cricket is doing great for the time being, and let’s enjoy the success run. They have been dominating the England team at all points of time today. D/L or not, we were surely poised to win.
