Supreme Court (SC) came into the rescue once again and said that the ban on SIMI (Students Islamic Movement of India) will continue citing SIMI’s possible involvement in all major blasts including the recent blasts in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Melegaon (Maharaastra) & Uttar Pradesh. They are also said to be involved in increased terrorist activities and spreading counterfeit currency in India.

Interestingly our politicians Mr. Mulayam Singh Yadav, former UP Chief Minister wants to get the ban lifted on SIMI, saying SIMI has not caused any problems in UP. And he said, if SIMI is to be banned, why not RSS? Not surprisingly Mr. Laloo Prasad Yadav said if organization like SIMI is banned then other organization like Shiva Sena and Durga Vahini should be banned as well. Mulayam and Lalooji, tell me honestly, yeh vote bank statement hain na? Huh?

So friends, will Indian politicians ever look beyond their selfish end. Thankfully Supreme Court is still unaffected by this bad era of Indian politics and I again thank SC for their decision in this regard.
