Low intensity five bomb blasts rocked Tripura killing 2 people and injuring more than 50, 20 of them are critical. The blasts are in similar in nature that rocked Mehrauli district, New Delhi few days back. The first blasts occurred at 7:30 PM IST time. Just before the blasts, one motorcyclist was moving suspiciously near the site of the blasts. Police even tried to intervene, however they ran away and immediately after that the blasts occurred.
As per reports coming in, timer device was used to trigger the serial blasts. First blasts occurred at 7:30 PM, second at 7:35 PM, third at 8:15 PM. Blasts occurred at Gul Bazaar, Radha Nagar and GB Bazaar areas.
Totally defenseless against terror, these are amongst first terror attacks in the Northeast.
