Recently Samajwadi Party announced that Sanjay Dutt would contest as their candidate for the lok sabha elections from Lucknow for the poll expected by May. But little did Amar Singh and his gang of cronies realized that Sanjay Dutt is booked under the Arms Act and is not qualified to compete for the seat.
Not to be outdone by the law of the land, Samajwadi Party general Amar Singh had this to say ‘If Bollywood star Sanjay Dutt is not qualified to contest the Lok Sabha elections, his wife Manyata will be the Samajwadi Party candidate in his place‘.
What a bloody mockery of indian democracy, what does Manyata dutt know anything about politics, we should not forget that the lucknow seat is currently being held by former prime minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. So if SP is pitching Manyata Dutt for this seat then there is something really wrong with the politics in this country. We already know that the politics in UP has already gone to the dogs, this announcement by Amar Singh has already enforced that fact!!!

Amar Singh has insulted the whole nation by saying if not Sanjay Dutt, Mayanta will contest.
What kind of nonsense is this? MR. Amar Singh, isntead of hiring some good IITian or MBA or someone who can do good for the nation you just want to please the bollywood people. What has your party done for UP, which is dire shit! Comon kitna aur lootoge desh ko.
My comment is not against Mayanta or Sanjay. I like Sanjay Dutt a lot. I also like my girl friend. That does not mean I can ask my girl friend to run my office when I m not there. She isnt qualified to do that.

Good one Jay, but what you did not add was this:
We have seen in the past that people from the bollywood has been used for vote bank and promotions. And after they have won, they hardly attended the house and sessions.
Govinda is the classic example. As per reports his attendance was one of the worst in the house and the reason was he was more interested in his films than running the nation.
Jaya Bachchan, Jaya Pradha are used for drawing attention but hardly they have done anything for the country.
With due respect, you all are good with movies, but why do you want to do things which you all arent comfortable with. Except for Sunil Duttji, I have not seen or heard of any bollywood or star doing anything but to attract people.
Comon, wake up Indian people, do not vote people who are puppets coz if you choose them then you all do not have rights to complain that DESH mein kuch nahin ho raha hain.
My appeal to bollywood stars, you all have earned enough publicity and money. Do us a favor. Remain away from politics unless you can vouch to change for better.
