Following on the Shoes of Taliban, a group of 40 men, reportedly members of the Sri Ram Sena allegedly molested & beaten up Girls at a pub in Mangalore.

The Sena, which has donned upon itself the responsibility of moral policing in the state, seems unapologetic about the incident. Sena chief Prasad Attavar says a big issue is being made out of nothing.

On Saturday, a 40 member team allegedly of the Shri Rama Sena attacked a pub on Balmatta Road in Mangalore and assaulted two girls. While Shri Ram Sena justified the incident by stating that this was a spontaneous reaction against those girls who flouted the traditional Indian norms and levels of decency.

It is all very fine to say our youth is too much enamored by the western culture and forgetting our own. It sounds very patriotic when one says we should preserve our culture. But is patriotism confined to such narrow acts of vandalism? Ah, that is something very difficult for the uneducated, unemployed young ‘activists’ to understand, who are probably paid by their masters for every glass pane they break and every girl and boy they attack in the name of culture. They will not understand that irrational jingoism will only make our country worse, that the only path it will lead to is that of more disharmony, fear and a society that will slowly be eaten by its own worms.

Atleast one thing is clear, giving freedom to cultural bigots have ensured that they have the freedom to thrust down others their version of their perverted cultural thinking. Their limited knowledge of Indian culture, with a false sense of rightousness has given them the right to judge others. They are a disease our society that needs to be eliminated.

Whatever happenned in Manglore was condemnable, by saying so I’m not justifying the actions of either side. But, my point is that because of ingnorence we the Indians have lost our moral values. Which is why some people (like these outlaws) think that need protect the culture by taking laws in their hands.

This is certainly a day to mourn. The hypocrites who believe that “good” women should stay at home and then go to buy their pleasure from other unfortunate women are the worst type of men possible.These self-proclaimed pious are exactly what India does not need. These men are sick. They do not know anything of history, culture or traditions. Can we allow such behavior? Where is the respect for women?

This act is a shame to the people of Karnataka. The chief minister Mr. B.Yediyurappa need to take strict actions against such Cultural Activists. India is a democratic Country and people have a right to do everything that is legal & constitutional.The general people have to take things in hand immediately and send a strong protest & message to the ruling party. Women have to protest strongly all over India. We have to put these miscreants and their leaders behind bars for a long long time.

Bottom line is that if we all take care of ourselves and our families and see that each and every one of us is doing the right thing, we wont need goons to teach the lessons to us and only then we can get rid of such evils.

These people (Ram Senas) does not have credibility to live in 21st century they are apt for 14th Century to live in history of caves.
