Live Bomb/Explosives found in an auto rickshaw in the Connaught Place area of New Delhi. There are different versions of information coming with regard to how this bomb was detected. As per confirmed reports the two men boarded the auto from Pahargunj area to go to the British Embassy. Near Connaught Place, these men asked the auto driver to stop so that they can call someone on mobile and tried to run away. The driver alerted the police, which in turn called the Bomb Squad and the NSG commando.

However as per latest reports, the suspected bag where explosives were said to be kept was a SAFE and on opening the SAFE (through controlled explosives) a bottle with some chemicals and some documents were found. This report defy earlier reports that explosives were found in the bag in an Auto Rickshaw! So is this a Black Dollar Scam Issue and not Explosives? Reports are still awaited!

As per Auto rickshaw driver two Nigerians are suspected to be the passengers.

The Whole area is cordoned off and Delhi is on High Alert!

There were warnings about the possible Bomb Blast in Delhi immediately after the Mumbai Attack. Intelligent Agencies have warned about terrorists targetting market place area of New Delhi by placing Bomb in CNG Autos, which would make the impact more severe.
