air-india2State-Owned Air India has announced fare cut ranging from 35 per cent to 80 per cent on domestic routes. This announcement comes a day after Jet Airways announced cut in the air fares for all its domestic flights. The fare cut will be effective from today. The fare cut will be in as many as 20 sectors mostly metros.

There has been speculation about the fare cut as the price of the fuel has gone down substainally. However, it took some time for the airlines to work out the cut, but as said better late than never. This news will not only make the travler happy but also boost AIR TRAVEL, which has seen huge dip due to recession and hiigh overhead charges.
