Slumdog Millionaire’s songs have been nominated for the BEST Original Score and Best Song Category. ‘O Saya’ and ‘Jai Ho’ songs are nominated for the Oscars. Hattrick Nomination by Rahman in two categories, first by India. A R Rahman earlier won the Critics’ Choice Award and Golden Globe Awards.

Further Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire sweeps the Oscar Nominations by bagging ten nominations in different categories.

Allah Rakha Rahman said these nominations are for the the people who have worked at the backstage. He further added the inspirations for the song came from the movie – Slumdog Millionaire.
