HimalayaThe atmosphere at St Andrew’s auditorium on Sunday was relaxed with an air of comedy in it. Paritossh Painter’s new comedy play ‘Get Rid Of My Wife’ was being staged there over the weekend.

It was a cozy Sunday evening wherein the stars turned up dressed in casuals. The people who graced the event by their presence were Indra Kumar Irani with her daughter, Sheeba, Bhagyashree with husband Himalay, Mohan Kapoor, Nikhil Dwedi,Monisha Khatwani, Mohammad Morani and Lucky Morani and many more.

The guests’ thoroughly enjoyed the play and were overheard praising the play.

The play “Get Rid Of My Wife“ is comedy theatre at its best! It is about three friends Shree, Adi and Manav, who live together with their handicaps (one is blind, one is deaf and one is mute) and creditors like Mario, a goon who is hired to recover their debts. After realizing that the three do not have the capacity to repay, Mario offers them a job to kidnap a rich industrialists’ wife. That’s when the roller coaster ride of comedy and laughter begins, which is sure to keep the audience in splits.

The cast include television favourites Smita Bansal, Nasir Khan, Balvinder Singh Suri, Jayesh Thakkar, Tania Abrol, Shruti Sharma and Paritosh Painter himself.

The play has already won accolades for it performance and comic timing!
