Shweta Tiwari’s ex-husband and Bhojpuri actor Raja Chaudhary was arrested last night for allegedly obtaining a SIM card using forged documents.
Chaudhary provided the address of Mehul Kansaria, a resident of Oshiwara. Kansaria received mobile bills for the month of January and February for the current year. He approached the police alleging that Chaudhary had wrongfully given his address.
The actor has been booked under IPC sections 420 (Cheating), 465 (forgery), 468 (Forgery for purpose of cheating) and 469 (Forgery for purpose of harming reputation)
But this isn’t the first time that Raja has found himself on the wrong side of the law.
Chaudhary had earlier been arrested in January for allegedly assaulting his former wife Shweta Tiwari.
In November last year, the Oshiwara police had arrested the actor and his ‘girlfriend’ Sharma, after the two were booked for allegedly causing nuisance by fighting.
