Salman Khan’s much hyped Dabang is in trouble as it is under fire for the lyrics of one of the movie’s song Munni Badnaam Hui. The film is slated to release next week. A Mumbai-based activist Rajkumar Tak filed a petition against the movie for using the word Hindustani in an offensive manner.
The court sent notice to producer Arbaaz Khan and director Abhinav Kashyap.
The petition filed by Tak says that the song Munni Badnaam Hui is a vulgar item number, which shows Munni dancing indecently surrounded by anti-social elements. She is also accompanied by a corrupt police officer while dancing.
