Aishwarya Rai was in the news throughout the year; first for her film Heroine and then it was all about her baby bump. The hype surrounding her pregnancy was so immense that the Bachchans had to ask the media for some privacy. On the other hand, the bookies bet on the possible day of the arrival of Aishwarya’s baby. First, it was speculated that the Bachchans would go for C-section delivery for the baby to be born on the unique date of 11.11.11. But the Bachchans strongly denied it. And Aishwarya Rai proved to the world that one is never too posh to push and went through labour pain and Beti B was born in a natural way on November 16.
