Surekha Sikri Rege: Kalyani Devi in Balika Vadhu is one character that has also become the face of the show. Ever since the show started airing in July 2008, Dadisa/Maasa (as she is called in the show) has been an integral part of the show. Through the years, her character has seen a wide variety of shades going from black to grey and now a positive one, the former theatre actor has pulled off each one of them with finesse. She also happens to share fab screen chemistry with both Anandis, played by Avika Gor and Pratyusha Banerjee.
