Actress Liv Tyler says she is eager to figure out what she wants from life after years of adapting to other people.
Liv feels “grateful” that her childhood was spent with different relatives because her mother Bebe Buell needed support as she has learned to “adapt” to situations, however now wants to put herself first, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
“My mum was young and I think she might not have had the emotional tools to know exactly how to take care of me, so she turned to her family for support. I spent two years with my aunt, a year with my mum and two years with my grandparents,” she said.
“I feel grateful for those dynamics. I’m good at adapting, so it’s easy for me to suss out a situation and adapt to it.
“At this point in my life, however, I’m trying to define a bit more of what I want, as opposed to adapting to what other people want,” she added.
The 33-year-old model-and-actress learned Aerosmith’s Steven Tyler was her father when she was eight-years-old, while she believed her dad was singer Todd Rundgren.
