From the sophisticated to the eclectic,Vanity Fair’s 2010 best-dressed list ranks this year’s style elite. France’s first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy makes the list for the third year in a row. Singer Lady Gaga, and Michelle Obama have been chosen by Vanity Fair magazine as among the world’s best dressed people.
New entries include actresses Diane Kruger, Carey Mulligan and Spanish actor Javier Bardem, while his wife Penelope Cruz is notable absent for the 2010 list of 45 persons.
High-profile men to make the cut include filmmaker Martin Scorcese, comedian Alec Baldwin, designer John Galliano and soccer player David Beckham.
Vanity Fair sends ballots to thousands of designers, retailers, editors, photographers and socialites – said to have the inside track on style – to compile the annual lit.
