Actors James Marsden and Kate Bosworth’s thriller film “Straw Dogs” is set to hit the theaters Oct 20.

Directed by Rod Lurie, the story revolves around David (James), a Hollywood screenwriter and his actress wife Amy Sumner (Kate). The couple go back to Amy’s small hometown to prepare the family home for sale after her father’s death.

However, once they reach there, tensions begin to creep into their marriage and old conflicts re-emerge with the locals, including Amy’s ex-boyfriend Charlie (Alexander Skarsgard), leading to a violent confrontation.

The film also stars Dominic Purcell, Laz Alonso, Willa Holland and James Woods.
