Gerard Butler and Jennifer Aniston are getting down and dirty for the new cover of W magazine. “The Bounty Hunter” co-stars, both 40, who have been rumored to be romantically involved since filming the action-comedy last summer, appear at ease with each other in a series of seven photographs shot by celeb shutterbug Steven Klein.
According to People.com, the 13-page pictorial for the mag’s April issue features Butler and Aniston “role playing in the searing heat of the California desert where damsels aren’t always in distress and lawmen sometimes break the rules.”
On the cover image, the Scottish stud is pictured with his arms wrapped around Aniston, who dons a high-fashion ensemble – comprised of an Alberta Ferretti silk chiffon dress, Carine Gilson Lingerie Couture’s silk bra and silk lace briefs, Stella McCartney garters and Lanvin shoes – totaling $3,800.
Aniston’s longtime friend and hair stylist, Chris McMillan, talked to the mag about getting the right look for the shoot. “We left her hair dirty,” he said of Aniston’s famous mane. “It just created a nice chunky texture. The key to Jennifer’s hair is no matter what you do with it – straight, frizzy, dirty – it looks like it actually grows out of her head. She’s someone for whom her hair doesn’t wear her, she wears it.”
As for what critics will think of Aniston’s sultry new look, McMillan makes no excuses, saying, “They’re going to be talking s— as usual, but who cares? We don’t care about that.” Butler and Aniston’s new movie, “The Bounty Hunter,” in theaters on March 19.
