Harry Potter star Emma Watson’s representative has announced that the 20 year old actress is not for the lead role in the movie adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo. Late Swedish author and journalist Stieg Larsson had written this award-winning crime novel.
Earlier this month, when Emma was seen flaunting a short pixie hairstyle, there was speculation everywhere that the actress was auditioning to play the edgy computer hacker Lisbeth Salander.
There was a report that actresses Carey Mulligan and Ellen Page were also in the race to get the role but Emma was leading the competition.
However, her spokesperson has cleared the air saying that the news is absolutely false on all accounts.
