It was in 2003 that Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Lu donned the garb of the Charlie’s Angels for the second time with the sequel Charlie’s Angel: Full Throttle. Since then people have been waiting for these three girls to come together on-screen again and deliver the hardcore performance with the remarkable one-liners and actions.
But if what Cameron Diaz is saying is true, it is possible that these three ladies might not just be the Angels for the third time. The 38-year old actress said that the time has come for new girls to come up and take the baton as the Angels.
While attending the premiere of her latest film The Green Hornet, the actress from Mask revealed that she might not be part of the next Charlie’s Angels but she does has a bit of an advice for the new crop of girls. Diaz goes on to state that the actresses who will become the next Angels should start afresh and not take it from where they left. Cameron goes on to state that when she, Drew and Lucy started as Angles, they did it as new Angels and never for once tried to be the other girls.
It’s true that even those who have not seen Charlie’s Angels before didn’t have any problem understanding the Angels that Drew, Cameron and Lucy portrayed to be. So now that these three ladies might stop being the Angels, who would be the audience like to see in this avatar?
