The pop singer Britney Spears is the latest name being touted as a possible judge for the X Factor USA judging panel.

“She’s a huge fan of The X Factor and thinks it’s the perfect time for her to be a judge,” the Sun quoted a friend as saying.

Janet Jackson was another star thrown into the mix last week and Fergie’s name was also planted by Simon’s people bandied about.
