Applegate to star in TV comedy

Actress Christina Applegate has been roped in to star in comedy show “Up All Night”.

The show to be aired by US network NBC will see the 39-year-old actress portraying a working mother with a stay-at-home husband coping with family pressures.

‘Saturday Night Live’s star Maya Rudolph will also star along with Lorne Michaels, who is also a co-executive producer of the new show.
