Never would a wife dare to do that in public, but when Twinkle did that, it landed her to the Jail. Vakola police arrested Twinkle Khanna, Akshay Kumar’s wife and later released her on bail on Wednesday Night for allegedly obscene behaviour at the Lakme Fashion Show held at a Santa Cruz hotel a few days back (Checkout the video). Akshay is said to be out of town and is expected to return this week to complete other formalities.

The drama all started at Lakme Fashion Show when Akshay walked the ramp for Tarun Tahiliani and added a saucy twist to the Levi’s ‘Live Unbuttoned’ show. He was supposed to be unbuttoned by a model, but he moved towards his wife, who was watching the show from the first row. Initially relunctant, Twinkle finally unbutton Akki’s jeans, which led to the big controversy.

Assistant commissioner of police (Vakola division) Arvind Mahabdi said: “It was a bailable offence and we released her on a bail of Rs 950 at the police station itself. We are now waiting for Akshay.” A person, claiming to be a social worker, had alleged that husband and wife had behaved in an obscene and vulgar manner and action should be initiated against them.

This is not the first time celebrities have been booked for any obscene act. Long back, Madhu Sapre and Milind Soman were held for obscenity in a sports shoe commercial. Pooja Bhatt, Shilpa Shetty, Mallika Sherawat and other celebrities have been booked in the past for obscene posters or act!
