pratikshaFor tourists, a visit to Amitabh Bachchan’s Bunglow Pratiksha is like a must visit to complete his/her itinerary. The superstar’s house at 10th Road Juhu Scheme has always attracted many tourists and fans that gather outside his house to view his glimpse. However, recently Mumbai Traffic Police has has clamped down on all tourist buses stopping outside Pratiksha.

Citing Congestion in that street, The Mumbai Traffic Police has put a “No Entry” for all tourist bus. This has come as a bad news for many tourist operators, who cite Mr. Bachchan’s visit as a MUST requirement by almost every tourist who want to go around the city.

One of the tour operators said – “We cover all major tourist places in Mumbai and one of them happens to be Pratiksha, Amitabh’s Bunglow. Tourists wants to stop for long or photograph themselves in the front of the house, but we do not allow that. We make a two-minute halt and then move on. What about hundreds of fan that gather outside the house everyday. Don’t they make congestions”

“We did so to avoid traffic congestion in the entire lane. It has nothing to do with Amitabh Bachchan’s bungalow,” said Assistant Commissioner of Police Mirza Baig.

Huge disappointment for tourists (especially Big B Fans) as they will have one good tourist spot less in their itinerary henceforth!
