Mona Singh and Karan Oberoi calls off their five-year long relationship – One more Troubled Relationship.

Seems like 2009 is not a good year for many relationships. And just adding to the list is Mona Singh (aka Jassi of Jassi Jaise Koi Nahin) and Karan Oberoi, who recently ended their five-year old relationship. Though the split came few months back, this was only known to the media few days back. And only friends and relatives knew about their break-up.

The love blossomed during the making of “Jassi Jaise Koi Nahin” in the year 2004. Mona Singh played the title character of Jassi and Karan was one of the lead character, who came into Jassi’s life and transferred her from an ugly looking girl to a super model in the serial.

The news has come as a shock to the industry as their relationship was said to be quite committed and there were news of marriage plans in the year 2008. Both refused to comment on the reason, but sources says they found themselves incompatible!

Mona is busy these days with her upcoming movie Rajkumar Hirani’s 3-idiots co-starring Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, while Karan will be seen in a flim Choti Si Baat opposite to model-turned actress Kriti Kulhari.
