Saif Ali Khan might be the scion of the royal family of Pataudis, but it seems the Bollywood superstar is not interested in his blue-blooded lineage.
In an exclusive interview to NDTVMovies, Saif said he doesn’t like being called Chhote Nawab, because it gives the impression of a person with a pot belly listening to mujras.
Saif said, “It’s very funny. I don’t know why but I don’t like this title. People call me Chhote Nawab but I always find it little strange.”
Coming to the more pertinent question of whether Kareena will be called Chhoti Begum, Saif’s attitude changes, he quickly says, “Of course, she is a Chhoti Begum, you can call her that. It’s fine with her.” He goes on to reveal that people in Pataudi have already started referring to Kareena as Chhoti begum.
Laughter aside, Saif doesn’t really want to reveal too much about his personal life. While Kareena is fairly gung-ho about the marriage question, Saif prefers to avoid it. He says, “I don’t discuss my personal life with the media. Please don’t ask any personal questions in future. I have decided not to offer any comment on my personal issues.”
Saif stresses that he is a private person and wouldn’t mind living out of the media glare completely
