The rumour mill claimed that John wanted to be promoted as the male lead of the film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, instead of just one of the seven husbands.

John was taken by surprise by allegations of him not doing his due for the promotion of 7 Khoon Maaf.

John made it clear that he will give his best promoting 7 Khoon Maaf, like he has always done for any of his movies. He currenly shooting for Nishikant Kamat’s action film Force.
