The event was GQ Man of the Year Awards where Big B received the Lifetime Achievement Award. After the event Amitabh Bachchan was amazed with the success of Katrina Kaif and the kind of fan following she caries. Big B writes in his blog that he is surprised how Ms. Kaif has attained success in a short duration of a time. Surprisingly, there were no reference of his daughter-in-law Aishwariya Rai Bachchan.

Apart from Big B, Jaya Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan, Irrfan Khan, Karan Johar, Lara Dutta and Abhay Deol all lit up the evening with their presence!

Abhay Deol was awarded with the Breakthrough Talent title and surprisingly Saif Ali Khan stole the most stylish Award. Kareena Kapoor manage to win an award too!
