Sushil KumarWorld Wrestling champion Sushil Kumar got engaged to Savi, daughter of his coach Satpal Singh at private ring ceremony at Hotel Shangri La on Monday.

The guest list included Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi, Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda, Cricketer Kapil Dev, CWG gold medalist wrestlers Narsingh Yadav and Ravinder Kumar etc.

“The marriage will take place on February 18. On February 17, all the other rituals including Mehendi and ladies sangeet will be performed. Everyone in both the families are excited about the match,” said S Kumar, Sushil’s close friend.
