Sania ShoaibSurprise! Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Malik will get married on Monday (12th April 2010) in Hyderabad. This was announced by the family on Monday Morning.

Earlier the marriage was fixed three days later, which is on 15th April.

“Sania and Shoaib marriage will take place today. We can’t reveal time and venue of the marriage because of security reasons,” said Sania’s media coordinator Richa.

She also announced that the mehendi ceremony will take place on Tuesday. “Sania will wear her mother’s 25-year-old sari. Shoaib will be wearing a black sherwani which was made by Shantanu and Nikhil,” she added.

The marriage ceremony is likely to take place on Monday afternoon at Taj Krishna hotel in Hyderabad.

The two were earlier scheduled to get married on April 15. It is not known yet why the marriage date has been rescheduled for Monday. But it might be due to fatwa issued by some Muslim Clergies.

Shoaib has already come under criticism for denying marriage with another Hyderabadi girl Ayesha Siddiqui even after admitting that he signed the ‘nikahnama’. The Pakistani star last week divorced Ayesha after the latter filed a case of cheating against him.
