Amrita is Sangeeta’s second film after her debut movie Magno Mainak in 2009 and the beautiful Bengali actress is very excited about it. She is very happy to get the opportunity to act with a seasoned actress like Smriti, who is very popular in television industry.
The film is set to release in 2011 February and Sangeeta is thrilled to be a part of Smriti’s Bengali debut film. Speaking about the film, the actress says that it revolves around her character Anushree and Amrita, played by Smriti. Sangeeta says that she got very nervous on the first day pf shooting but Smriti made her feel comfortable with her down to earth personality. With her friendly nature, Smriti made her feel easy so that she come over the fear of acting with senior actors.
However, both the actresses hardly talked in Bengali and most of their conversations on the sets were in English. It is only on Sangeeta’s birthday when she was distributing sweets to everyone, Smriti asked her in Bengalli, ‘Tomar Jonmodin?’
