South Indian actress Samantha made her debut with director Gautham Menon’s Ye Maaya Chesave in 2010, says that she is ready to act in all genres but does not want to be stereotyped. The actress wants to explore variety of roles when it comes to her acting career.
Samantha is starting the New Year with four films in her kitty and is still finalizing some other projects. But she does not want to disclose the yet to be finalized ones because she thinks she is a superstitious person. She will be seen Mahesh Babu starrer film Dookudu, Erra Gulabilu by Gautham Menon, Eega by Rajamouli and another film by V V Vinayak.
The 23 year old actress gives credit to all these to her director Gautham Menon, who launched her in Ye Maaya Chesave. Apart from the films, Samantha is also getting several endorsement offers. On this, the model turned actress says that maybe people find her lucky.
Even though, Samantha has kept herself open to all genres, she knows that her physical attributes would not allow her action sequences like Hollywood star Angelina Jolie. She says that she entered into the films by accident but now she has started loving it.
Samantha does not have very high notion about her beauty. She does not think she is very beautiful and believes that her hard work and sincerity has made her lovable and acceptable with the masses and the film-makers.
