For a change, Lindsay Lohan is not in the news for her drug abuse. According to reports this “Mean Girls” star is in talks with the makers of ‘Dancing With the Stars’ to participate in the show as a contestant.

It is not just us who are tired of her never ending tales of being arrested and being in rehab; LiLo is tired of it herself. May be she is considering to channelize her energies in a more socially acceptable path and dancing her way to glory in ‘Dancing With the Stars’.

A source close to this 24-years-old starlet has revealed that she has been approached by this ABC dance reality show and she is very interested in it. The source also says that Lindsay’s treatment team feels being on ‘Dancing With the Stars’ will be the best way for her to bounce back to work. LiLo is currently at the Betty Ford Centre rehab and wanted the opinion of the treatment team as she is considering the offer. Her near and dear ones, along with her treatment team, are in support of her gig on the show. Being occupied with something might prove to be a boon for LiLo and can help her revamp her image.

Radar Online states that DWTS had Lindsay Lohan on their wishlist for a long time. She will not only grab eyeballs, like the controversial Bristol Palin, but will also give tough competition to her fellow contestants.
