Lindsay Lohan will not be a part of The X Factor. The young star is still on probation for a DUI she received in 2007 and has been recently accused of stealing a necklace valued at $2,500. If proved true, this allegation could be a breach on her probation.
However, Simon Cowell, the show’s producer, recently confirmed that there is no truth whatsoever behind the rumor. Lindsay Lohan will not be partaking as a judge on the show and was never even considered for the part.
With her ongoing legal problems, substance-abuse relapses and multiple trips to rehab, Lohan is a huge risk for potential employers. It would be ridiculous to think that, at this point in her life, anyone would want to hire Lohan for a job that requires her to work at least five days a week for four consecutive months out of the year, which is approximately the time commitment warranted to be a judge on “The X Factor” when the show is on the air. (Fox will debut “The X Factor” U.S. in September 2011, and the show’s first season will conclude in December 2011.)
