Legendary lyricist Javed Akhtar said, ‘Kolaveri di…’ is an ordinary song, it has taken the world by storm.

He is probably first celebrity to criticise the song, which has become a rage among the youths not only in Tamil Nadu but all across the nation.

He further adds, “Ideally what is desirable is success with quality Even If bad taste is in the cover of “personal taste” at least I don’t find acceptable.(sic)”

Anirudh Ravichander, the composer of Kolaveri Di, he said, “Javed Akhtar saab is entitled to his own opinion. I’ve accept his criticism. He is a legend and I am happy that my song in my debut film has reached his ears.
