Child actor Darsheel Safary, who made it big in Bollywood with Aamir Khan’s directorial debut “Taare Zameen Par”, celebrated his 15th birthday Wednesday in Sri Lanka. Darsheel spent the day sight-seeing, bonding and playing with baby elephants and visiting Buddhist shrines, among other things, and even got a laptop as a birthday gift, said a source.
After “Taare Zameen Par”, Darsheel was seen in Priyadarshan’s “Bumm Bumm Bole”, and now he will be seen in Walt Disney’s “Zokkomon”. The trailers of the movie will be released this week.
Directed by Satayjit Bhatkal, “Zokkomon” is an action adventure film about an ordinary boy who meets extraordinary challenges. It is scheduled for an April 22 release.
