Glamorous and worldly, Sophie Choudry won the MTV India VJ Hunt. After establishing herself as a VJ, she turned her focus solely on her career as a singer and these days she is taking up small parts in movies too. Sophie Choudry moved to India in 2003 and became a popular VJ on MTV India. She hosted shows like MTV Loveline. She was part of the girl band Sansara before she went solo.

Her album ‘Sophie and Dr.Love’ was released in 2003 which was followed by ‘Baby Love’. They included tracks like Mere Babu Chail Chabila and Ek Pardesi Mera Dil Legaya. She is the winner of the Lycra MTV Style Award in 2004 for the Most Stylish Female in Music as well as the Bollywood Award for Best Pop Singer in 2005.Choudry made her debut in Bollywood with David Dhawan’s Shaadi No.1. Her other movies are Pyar Ki Side Effects and Speed. She was seen with Neil Nitin Mukesh, Rahul Dev and Bipasha Basu in Aa Dekhen Zara.
