Personal Life

Sherlyn was studious girl as a school going kid. Being the school topper and excelling in extra-curricular activities were her trade marks. She was looking like an ugly duckling and wore thick reading glasses. Her books were the best friends. If she ever found anyone cheating in her class during a test/exam, she would quickly inform her teacher. No wonder she had no friends! She was really boring as a kid. Seriously! But then one day, the caterpillar got in the process of converting into a butterfly. Not a regular butterfly….The kind which is called’ Outrageous’.

After she came to Mumbai in December 2004, she signed a few projects which she calls her ‘hot blunders’. She was quite vulnerable then and also naive. She is glad that she made those blunders. Coz today she value excellence. And she works honestly & earnestly to kill mediocrity in & around of her life.

Career Life

Sherlyn has worked for the prestigious Yashraj banner in the film ‘Dil Bole Hadippa’. She has a sizeable supporting role in the film. That of a UK based supermodel who is interested in a cricketer called Rohan (Shahid Kapoor). Her early career was mainly in the B-grade films. She appeared in movies like Time Pass, Red Swastik and Game. She is one of the actresses who are known for their extreme exposure on screen.

This has made her an extremely controversial person, along with the fact that her outspoken views on films, society and sexuality are often publicized. She has also acted in a Telugu film ‘A film by Aravind’ which went on to become a super hit thriller though she didn’t have much to prove her acting prowess . In recent times she appears to have made a conscious effort to project herself as a serious artist, releasing her first Music Album, and making a cameo appearance in Yashraj Film. Sherlyn Chopra is the second guest on Bigg Boss 3.
