Dev Anands funeralThe last rites of the legend of Indian Cinema, Dev Anand took place in London. Shockingly, not a single known personality from Bollywood was present.

Suneil Anand, son of Dev Anand, carries the casket of his father to the Putney Vale Crematorium.

Apart from friends and family, members of Dev Anand’s fan club and his fans from all over London were present at the funeral.

A legend like Dev Anand who worked in the industry till his very last days, certainly deserved a better farewell.

Dev Anand made his debut as an actor in 1946 in “Hum Ek Hain”. By the time his “Ziddi” was released in 1947 he was a superstar and then never looked back.
