After the debacle of Yaadein, Kisna and Black and White, Subhash Ghai needed to reinvent himself and come up with a trump that wipes his slate clean, unfortunately, Yuvvraaj ((not sure what the double ‘v’ is for) is not that trump. Infact, Ghai has not learnt one bit, he’s back to his old dramatic self, focusing on more the visual aspect rather than toeing a storyline that attracts cinemagoers to the theatres. Ghai does not realize that times have changed and people have become choosy and less tolerant (of long wounding stories).
